Amazing students

I decided to use blogging as a platform for our main communication project in FET 3 this term. What I didn't realise, was how amazing my students would be. Not only have they embraced the opportunity to use their blogs to develop their own voices, they have gone to so much effort to personalize and choose themes for their blogs........ I am left astounded. The themes are as diverse and individual as each of my students. From pure educational blogs (Thagan.....I am impressed with the maths initiative and Thelma, I am also a book fan), to brand blogs (Addidas)......cooking blogs (Jade, I love it) to bee keeping blogs (Olga *thumbs up*). I love the fact that exercise and healthy lifestyles have come to the fore (Jeffery and Clint......niiiiiice). I am humbled by the inspirational blogs (Jessica......you are an inspiration) and the honesty that so many of them displayed makes me very proud (Leeann, I am glad that you have changed your mind about this project ;-)

I am going to use this opportunity to comment on everybodies blogs, and I hope that my students will come to respect each others blogs too.

This is so exciting and I cannot wait to see where this journey takes us!
